What if the house changes during the contract?
The loyalty savings are a percentage, not a fixed dollar amount. Each season, that year’s % comes off that year’s quote.
- Nothing changes: the customer pays exactly what they saw when they signed ($2,127.00, then $1,914.30, then $1,807.95).
- You add work at renewal (an extra roofline, say): open the renewal quote and update it. The year 2 discount (10% in this example) comes off the new, bigger price, so they still get their loyalty savings on everything.
What if the customer picks 1 year?
That’s fine. That’s why the 1-year price is there. They pay the 1-year price for this season, and there’s no contract. Next season’s renewal is an ordinary renewal, with your normal season pricing.
Can I use a Price Lock on a property bundle?
Not yet. Locations in a property bundle use standard contract pricing, and the Price Lock switch doesn’t show on them.
What happens to contracts my customers already signed?
Nothing. Contracts signed with one discount every year (standard contracts) stay that way for their whole term. Turning on Price Lock doesn’t touch any quote you’ve already sent or had signed.
What if a customer wants to cancel partway through?
LightQuoter doesn’t charge or refund anything automatically when a customer stops early. Handle it the way your service agreement says.
With a Price Lock and year 1 at full price, a customer who leaves after year 1 has paid your full price, so they haven’t received any savings they didn’t earn.
Do I have to offer Price Lock on every quote?
No. Pick Standard or Price Lock on each quote. In Settings, New quotes start as only sets where new quotes begin.
Can my customer see both styles?
No. One quote uses one style. A customer sees either standard contract options or Price Lock options, never both.
